CLASS OF CLASS OF INDIVIDUAL - Operating Asset

Description

Abstract Concept

An Operating Asset is a Functional Asset that describes the way Outcome Events are produced and consumed: how (Behaviors) and by whom (Agents).

Operating Assets fulfill Capability(ies) (Fulfilled Capability).

As any Functional Architecture Asset, Operating Assets are subject to Policy Conformances. In addition, they define Rule Enforcements to indicate how Policy Conformances are met.

Conceptualization Levels of Operating Asset: an Operating Asset is either a Conceptual Operating Asset or a Resource Operating Asset
Systemic Levels of Operating Asset: an Operating Asset is either a Macro Operating Asset, a Mezzo Operating Asset or a Micro Operating Asset
Structural Partition of Operating Asset: an Operating Asset is either an Agent or a Behavior

Functional Domain: System Operating Framework - SOF

The System Operating Framework - SOF models how an active system (Agent) operates/functions (Behavior) in its Operating Eco-System to produce Outcome Events that benefit (value) to other Agents or affect (have an effect upon) these Agents.
